Online retailer DIY Kitchens claims to supply kitchens at lower prices than other major retailers by cutting out the cost of showrooms.

While getting a good price is important, you also need to know that your new kitchen will stand up to the daily rigours of life.

That's why we put DIY Kitchens through our tough lab tests. We also survey Which? members to see how happy they were with their purchase from DIY Kitchens, and we check how easy it is to install it yourself.

We've assessed the Innova kitchen units in the lab. This is a ready assembled unit, not a flatpack. Read on to find out how it scored.

The best kitchen we assessed achieved an overall score of 81%. Our five best kitchen suppliers all scored over 75%.

At the bottom end of the table, our lowest-scoring kitchen earned 59%. In fact, eight kitchens from four brands all got scores of less than 70%.

'DIY Kitchens says it can offer cheaper kitchens than its competitors because it doesn't have showrooms. Customers seem to agree – it's one of only two companies to achieve five stars for value for money in our survey. According to our pricing analysis, it is also one of the cheaper brands available. Remember that the brand also has a Best Buy, making their affordable prices even more impressive.'
