Amy Axworthy, Which? mobile phones expert, says:
If you’re choosing the iPhone 14 over the iPhone 13, you’ll get an upgraded A15 Bionic processor and camera lens improvements. These are nice to have, but you’ll need to decide if it’s worth the extra £100 or so.
If not, go for the iPhone 13. Better yet, we suspect the iPhone 13 won’t lose security support from Apple until September 2027, so you can keep it for a little while yet. (The iPhone 14 will likely get another year on top of this.)

Our reviews of the iPhone 13 vs iPhone 14 are different – we don't rate phones based on individual experience, but based on the ratings and results we receive from our independent lab, where phones are tested under identical conditions using cutting edge equipment, which means they're all directly comparable. We also purchase every phone we test ourselves, so you can trust that there is no bias in our scores.
