Plusnet broadband deals

Plusnet offers partial and full-fibre broadband deals. Its advertised average speeds range between 38Mbps and 900Mbps, depending on where you live. Its fibre deals don't include a phone line and come with either a 24-month or 12-month contract.

Plusnet doesn't have any use limits on its packages, although it does manage traffic, prioritising certain content in busy periods.

It usually offers competitively priced broadband but keep in mind that Plusnet puts up its prices annually - customers who take up a deal now will see their price increase by £3 a month on March 31 each year.

How much is Plusnet broadband?

Plusnet offers a wide range of packages, with ultrafast speeds (exceeding 100Mbps) available in some parts of the UK.

You can view the entire range of Plusnet broadband packages, or enter your postcode below to check for the best deals across all providers in your area.

Plusnet broadband speeds

Plusnet's partial fibre services are available with average speeds of 36-66Mbps, depending on where you live.

In some areas, Plusnet also offers speedier ultrafast packages – these have average speeds of either 145Mbps, 300Mbps, 500Mbps or 900Mbps.

Does Plusnet put up broadband prices every year?

Yes – if you do decide to sign up to a Plusnet broadband deal, keep in mind that it now increases its prices every year.

In July 2024, Plusnet introduced a fixed price increase. Now if you take out a broadband deal with Plusnet, it will increase the amount you pay by £3 a month on March 31 each year.

Previously, its price increases were based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rate of inflation as published in January, plus an additional 3.9% - this means affected customers will see their price increase by 6.4% in 2025.

What is the latest Plusnet router?

Plusnet supplies its Hub Two router free with fibre packages. Our lab tests revealed this router is simple to set up, delivers healthy speeds and powers multiple devices, but isn't compatible with Wi-Fi 6 technology. Find out more about the Plusnet Hub Two router in our guide to the best wi-fi routers.

Standard broadband packages come with the more basic Hub One router, which offers a reasonable level of security, but you shouldn't expect very fast transfer speeds.
