We tested two ranges from Wickes in the lab: the Bespoke and Lifestyle kitchen ranges, which both come flat-packed.

Read on to find out how Wickes kitchens performed in terms of quality, durability, customer service and installation.

Wickes Melrose kitchen
Wickes Melrose kitchen

The buying process for a Wickes kitchen varies depending on the type you choose.

You can purchase a Wickes Lifestyle kitchen from the Wickes website or in store, with or without a design appointment.

You will need to attend a design appointment to purchase a Bespoke kitchen. Wickes also provides a free measuring service when you buy this range.

Wickes kitchen ranges and unit sizes

Wickes Lifestyle comes in four ranges and the Bespoke comes in nine.

Wickes units come in standard sizes including 50mm and 60mm widths. Their cabinets are 570mm deep.

Wickes design service

Wickes offers a free design appointment, which you can choose to have in person or by video call. The designer will look at your space (and measure it, if they come to your home) and advise on what will suit your style and needs.

Once plans are ready, you'll be invited to a store to see the design as a 3D visualisation, discuss changes and get a quote.

Wickes also has an online kitchen planner you can play around with to find different combinations of ranges and colours.

Wickes Bespoke cabinets, hinges and runners have a 20-year guarantee, and doors and drawer fronts come with a 10-year guarantee.
